RumorReports.com is
dedicated to providing a voice for the innocent national and international populous
to alert others in reference to possible terrorist attacks, albeit in their neighborhood,
abroad, national or international. Tell us, "what have you heard?"
We have decided that this service is very necessary due
to the lack of rumor reporting by the media conglomerates
that cannot and will not publish what could be terrorist plots and/or
activity, simply (and maybe rightly so) because the rumor cannot be proven at the time.
We agree that a rumor is just a rumor, however, a rumor is
no longer a rumor if it becomes an incident... by then, it's too late.
We believe that the public will be better served if we can decide for
ourselves whether or not a rumor is worth taking precautions for in
hopes of preventing another tradgedy like the one on Sept. 11, 2001.
PLEASE NOTE: These boards are only intended to be a mere supplement in
the war against terrorism by helping to keep one another alert to possible
terrorist attacks and scenarios. This service not only provides the bulletin
boards themselves but also included are valuable links to agencies and
organizations that can help if the rumor is deemed serious by those that visit.
We sincerely hope that these boards will not be abused or incite anyone to panic.
We cannot be responsible for such abuses or interpretations. It's a
fine-line between being over-concerned and not concerned enough thus
we leave this freedom of use and understanding in the hands of those
that participate.

Rumors In Your Area
Here's a classic example of why a discussion board of
this nature is needed. On October 24th, 2001, a stolen Ryder truck
was intentionally driven into an American Electric Power substation
in Ohio causing an evacuation. The FBI, HAZMAT and the bomb squad were called
to the scene.
There was a rumor spreading throughout the internet that
over 30 U-Haul and Ryder trucks were reported stolen across the United
States three days before this incident took place! The e-mail was reported
to local and federal authorities but was dismissed as being just a rumor.
Use this board to post local rumors
that the media will not.

Rumors of Specific Threats
WASHINGTON-A Pentagon intelligence expert on terrorism in the Persian
Gulf has told Congress that he warned of possible terrorist attacks on U.S.
forces there before the bombing of the USS Cole but higher-ups failed to
pass the information to military commanders, senators said yesterday.
The intelligence official, whose name was not disclosed, resigned in protest
the day after the Cole attack. On October. 12th, 2001, Senator. Pat Roberts,
R-Kan., said at a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing. The
suicide bombing on the Cole left 17 U.S. sailors dead and 39 wounded.

Learn From Terror Abroad
It was recently learned that an Israeli woman reported a suspicious looking
man in Orthodox Jewish clothing but was wearing a backpack and looked
out of place to her. The authorities found the man to be carrying a bomb.
A similar response could have possibly avoided a HAMAS suicide bombing in Jerusalem on 25 February left 25 dead and 80 injured.
We can learn alot from the events that are happening overseas in our allies backyards.
Post what you've heard about terror overseas.

Hollywood Scenarios
The U.S. Army has been trying to tap into
Hollywood's creative juices by requesting that a group of filmmakers
and writers -- including directors David Fincher ("Fight Club"),
Spike Jonze ("Being John Malkovich"), Randal Kleiser ("Grease")
and Mary Lambert ("Pet Sematary") -- concoct possible terrorist-attack
scenarios and solutions.
This board will give people the opportunity to participate with Hollywood
and the army by filling this board with possible scenarios, plots and answers
that are perhaps closer to reality than we know.
